RidePal was a private commuter shuttle service that operated primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in corporate transportation solutions. Founded in 2012 by Roya Soleimani and Sina Chehrazi, the company aimed to alleviate traffic congestion and provide a comfortable, efficient commute for employees of various companies, particularly in the technology sector.
RidePal offered scheduled, premium shuttle services with features such as Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and real-time tracking, serving as an alternative to driving or traditional public transport for daily commuters. Its business model focused on contracting with companies to provide dedicated routes for their employees, often from residential areas to corporate campuses.
In 2019, RidePal was acquired by FlixMobility, the parent company of the global long-distance bus operator FlixBus. Following the acquisition, RidePal's operations were integrated into FlixBus's broader corporate and charter services, and the RidePal brand was gradually phased out.
