Resolution is a 1977 jazz album by baritone saxophonist Hamiet Bluiett. It was recorded on July 20, 1977, and released on the Black Saint label. The album features Bluiett alongside John Hicks on piano, Fred Hopkins on bass, and Marvin "Smitty" Smith on drums.
The album consists of four tracks, all composed by Bluiett. The compositions blend elements of avant-garde jazz, blues, and spiritual jazz. The music is characterized by Bluiett's powerful and expressive baritone saxophone playing, as well as strong contributions from the rest of the quartet.
