Reggie Swinton

Reggie Swinton (born November 24, 1975) is a former American football return specialist and wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons during the early 2000s.

Born in Alexandria, Louisiana, Swinton played college football at Murray State University, where he excelled as a wide receiver and returner. He was a two-time Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Offensive Player of the Year.

Swinton entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 1999, signing with the Dallas Cowboys. He quickly established himself as a prominent return specialist. His most productive season came in 2002 with the Cowboys, where he was selected to the Pro Bowl after leading the NFL in kickoff return yards with 1,511 yards and scoring one kickoff return touchdown. He also set a Cowboys franchise record for most kickoff return yards in a single season.

After his tenure with the Cowboys (1999–2003), Swinton went on to play for the Green Bay Packers (2004), Arizona Cardinals (2005), and concluded his career with a second stint with the Dallas Cowboys (2006). Throughout his career, he was known for his explosive speed and agility, making him a dangerous threat in the return game. He finished his NFL career with 6,861 kickoff return yards and 1,232 punt return yards, along with four total return touchdowns (two kickoff, two punt).
