RedLynx

RedLynx is a Finnish video game developer based in Helsinki, Finland. Founded in 2000, the company is primarily known for developing action and racing games, particularly the critically acclaimed Trials series.

The studio gained significant recognition for its physics-based motorcycle platforming games, starting with Trials HD (2009) on Xbox Live Arcade, which became a commercial and critical success. This was followed by Trials Evolution (2012) and Trials Fusion (2014), further cementing its reputation for innovative gameplay and challenging level design.

In 2011, RedLynx was acquired by Ubisoft, a major French video game publisher. Since the acquisition, RedLynx has continued to operate as a Ubisoft studio, developing new entries in the Trials franchise, such as Trials Rising (2019), and contributing to other Ubisoft projects. Besides the Trials series, RedLynx has also developed games like Motocross Mania, Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command, and DrawRace.

RedLynx is characterized by its focus on challenging gameplay, precise controls, and a blend of arcade-style fun with deep mechanics. Their games often feature user-generated content tools, allowing players to create and share their own levels, which has fostered strong community engagement.
