Rebecca Frith (born 1963) is a British actress. She is best known for her role as Brenda Walker in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, a character she has played since 2007.
Early Life and Education Born in 1963, Rebecca Frith trained as an actress at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Career Frith has an extensive career in British television, appearing in a variety of popular dramas and soap operas. Before joining Emmerdale, she had roles in several other well-known series. She appeared in Coronation Street multiple times as different characters, as well as in Casualty, Heartbeat, Doctors, and The Bill. She also had a recurring role as Sister Jean in the medical drama Always and Everyone from 1999 to 2002.
Her most prominent role is Brenda Walker in Emmerdale, where she has been a regular cast member for over a decade. Her storylines have included a brain tumour diagnosis, relationships, and family drama, establishing her as a significant character in the long-running series.
