Syed Raza Naqvi Wahi (c. 1948 – December 2013) was an Indian politician from the state of Bihar. A prominent leader within the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party, he served as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha and held various ministerial portfolios within the Bihar state government.
Early Life and Background Born around 1948, Raza Naqvi Wahi belonged to a family with a history in politics. He was the son of Syed Wasi Ahmad, who was also a political figure.
Political Career Raza Naqvi Wahi's political career spanned several decades, primarily in Bihar. He was elected as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) from the Muzaffarpur constituency on multiple occasions, including in 1985 and 1990. During his terms as an MLA, he gained experience in state administration, notably serving as the Minister for Health in the Bihar government.
In 1996, Wahi was elected to the 11th Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, representing the Muzaffarpur constituency. He served this term as a Member of Parliament (MP) under the banner of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party.
Death Syed Raza Naqvi Wahi passed away in December 2013.
