Raymonde Folco (born June 27, 1940, in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired Canadian politician. She served as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons of Canada from 1997 to 2011, representing the Quebec riding of Laval West (later renamed Laval—Les Îles) for the Liberal Party of Canada.
Political Career Folco was first elected in the 1997 federal election and was subsequently re-elected in 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2008. During her tenure, she served on various standing committees, including the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration, the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development, and the Standing Committee on the Status of Women. She also held the position of Chair of the National Liberal Women's Caucus.
Prior to entering federal politics, Folco was active in municipal politics, serving as a city councillor in Laval, Quebec, from 1989 to 1997.
She did not seek re-election in the 2011 federal election, retiring from political life after 14 years in the House of Commons.
