Rasmus Elm

Rasmus Elm (born 17 March 1988) is a Swedish former professional football midfielder. He began his senior career with IF Elfsborg in the Allsvenskan, making his debut in 2005. After establishing himself as a regular starter, Elm transferred to Dutch Eredivisie side Heerenveen in August 2009, where he played for two seasons. He returned to Sweden in 2011, signing with Kalmar FF and later joining Hammarby IF in 2015. Elm retired from professional football in 2018.

Internationally, Elm was capped 33 times for the Sweden national team between 2009 and 2015, scoring two goals. He participated in the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying campaign and was part of the squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification matches.

Elm's playing style was characterized by his passing range, vision, and set‑piece proficiency. Following his retirement, he has remained involved in football through coaching and youth development initiatives.
