Rajghat is a locality in the [[Morang District]] of [[Koshi Province]], [[Nepal]]. Historically, it was a designated [[Village Development Committee]] (VDC), an administrative unit in Nepal. Following the restructuring of local government bodies in 2017, Rajghat VDC was dissolved and incorporated into the newly formed [[Kanepokhari Rural Municipality]]. It now constitutes one of the wards within Kanepokhari, typically serving as Ward No. 7.
Location and Geography Rajghat is situated in the southeastern [[Terai]] region of Nepal, within the Morang District. The area is characterized by fertile plains, which are typical of the Terai belt. Its geographical position places it within the larger agricultural landscape of the region.
Administration Prior to 2017, Rajghat functioned as an independent Village Development Committee, responsible for local governance and development initiatives within its jurisdiction. With the implementation of the new federal structure in Nepal, VDCs were replaced by larger municipal and rural municipal units. Rajghat was subsequently integrated into the Kanepokhari Rural Municipality, contributing to its administrative and demographic composition.
