Rühstädt is a municipality (Gemeinde) in the district of Prignitz, in the federal state of Brandenburg, Germany. It lies on the right bank of the Elbe River, approximately 100 km west of Berlin and 30 km north of the district capital, Perleberg. The municipality is part of the Elbe River Landscape, a UNESCO‑designated biosphere reserve.
