Qian'an (Chinese: 千安; pinyin: Qiān'ān) is a county‑level city in the eastern part of Hebei Province, People's Republic of China. It is administered by the prefecture‑level city of Tangshan and lies on the North China Plain, approximately 120 km east of the provincial capital Shijiazhuang and about 50 km inland from the Bohai Sea.

Geography
Qian'an covers an area of roughly 1,000 km² (approximately 388 sq mi). The terrain is predominantly flat, with the canal network of the Grand Canal of China passing through its southern part.
