Qaziabad, Andika

Qaziabad (Persian: قاضي‌آباد) is a village located in Andika County, within Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran. The settlement is administratively part of the Central District of Andika County.

According to the 2006 national census of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Qaziabad was listed among the populated places in the county; however, detailed demographic data such as the exact population count and the number of households have not been made publicly available in the accessible census reports. Consequently, precise figures for the village’s population, area, and density remain unspecified in reliable sources.

The name “Qaziabad” is derived from Persian, where “Qazi” (قاضی) means “judge” and the suffix “‑abad” (آباد) denotes a settlement or inhabited place, collectively translating to “the settlement of the judge.”

No further verifiable information regarding the village’s history, economy, cultural characteristics, or geographic coordinates is available in widely recognized encyclopedic references.
