Punarbas

Punarbas is a municipality located in the Kanchanpur District of Sudurpashchim Province in far-western Nepal. It was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village Development Committees (VDCs) of Parasan, Parasan (part of), and Kalika (part of). The municipality serves as a local administrative unit within the district.

Geography and Location: Punarbas is situated in the Terai region, the southern plains of Nepal, which is characterized by flat, fertile land. It is positioned near the border with India, which influences its economic and social dynamics. The topography is predominantly agricultural, supporting various crops.
