Piotr Czauderna

Piotr Czauderna is a Polish neurosurgeon and academic physician. He holds a professorship at the Medical University of Białystok, where he heads the Department of Neurosurgery. Czauderna’s clinical expertise centers on epilepsy surgery, functional neurosurgery, and the treatment of brain tumors. He has contributed to the development of surgical techniques for the resection of epileptogenic foci and has published research on outcomes of epilepsy surgery, neuroimaging, and intraoperative monitoring.

In addition to his clinical duties, Czauderna is active in professional societies related to neurosurgery and epilepsy. He has served on committees of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
