Ping'an District (simplified Chinese: 平安区; traditional Chinese: 平安區; pinyin: Píng'ān Qū) is a district located in the eastern part of Qinghai Province, China. It is one of the administrative divisions of Haidong City, a prefecture-level city in Qinghai. The name "Ping'an" literally translates to "peace and tranquility."
Geography and Location Ping'an District is situated in the central-eastern part of Haidong City, making it a key transportation and economic hub within the region. It lies on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, characterized by a mix of river valleys and surrounding hills.
