Philip Cook (born 1950) is a retired American bishop of the Episcopal Church. He served as the XI Bishop of the Diocese of Florida from 2007 to 2021.
Cook was consecrated as bishop on February 24, 2007, at the University of North Florida Arena in Jacksonville. Prior to his consecration, he served as the rector of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Orlando, Florida, for 13 years.
Cook is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Virginia Theological Seminary.
During his tenure as Bishop of Florida, Cook emphasized congregational development, youth ministry, and outreach programs. He was also involved in various ecumenical and interfaith initiatives within the region. His episcopate concluded with his retirement in 2021, succeeded by Charlie Holt as the XII Bishop of Florida.
