Philbertia perparva is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae.
Description
The shell of Philbertia perparva attains a length of 5.8 mm.
Distribution
This marine species occurs in the Western Atlantic, specifically off the coast of Northeast Brazil. It is a benthic species found at depths of around 640 meters.
Taxonomy
The species was originally described as Pleurotoma (Defrancia) perparva by R. B. Watson in 1881. It is currently classified under the genus Philbertia within the family Raphitomidae, which belongs to the superfamily Conoidea, order Neogastropoda.
