Peter Riley Huntsman (born March 13 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is an American businessman who serves as chairman of the board, president, and chief executive officer of Huntsman Corporation, a global chemical manufacturing company founded by his father, Jon Huntsman Sr.
Early life and family
Huntsman is the son of Jon Huntsman Sr., the founder of Huntsman Corporation, and the brother of Jon Huntsman Jr., a former United States ambassador and governor of Utah. He is married to Brynn Ballard, the daughter of M. Russell Ballard, a former apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints; the couple have eight children.
Career
- 1979‑1983: Began his career with Huntsman Corporation in various entry‑level roles.
