Pedro Manuel López (born April 16, 1984) is a Dominican former professional baseball infielder and current minor league manager. He played briefly in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago White Sox in 2008.
López began his professional playing career in 2001 after signing with the Chicago White Sox. Primarily an infielder, capable of playing second base and shortstop, he spent several years in their minor league system. He made his MLB debut with the White Sox on July 7, 2008, appearing in 10 games during that season. After his brief MLB stint, López continued his playing career in the minor leagues, primarily within the White Sox and Cincinnati Reds organizations, until 2015.
Following his playing career, López transitioned into coaching. He joined the New York Yankees organization in 2017 as a hitting coach for the Gulf Coast League Yankees. He advanced through their minor league managerial ranks, managing various affiliates, including the Staten Island Yankees (Class A Short Season), Charleston RiverDogs (Class A), and Hudson Valley Renegades (High-A). In 2023, he was named the manager of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate, a position he continues to hold.
