Patrick Cehlin (born 9 June 1992) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward. He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round, 124th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Cehlin has primarily competed in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and other European leagues, and has not played in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Early life and junior career
Cehlin was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He developed his early hockey skills within the Swedish junior system, playing for AIK's under‑18 and under‑20 teams.
Professional career
- 2009–2011: AIK (HockeyAllsvenskan / SHL) – Cehlin made his professional debut with AIK, appearing in both Sweden’s second‑tier league (HockeyAllsvenskan) and the top‑flight SHL during the 2009‑10 and 2010‑11 seasons.
- 2011–2013: Luleå HF (SHL) – He subsequently signed with Luleå HF, where he continued to develop as a forward in the SHL.
- 2013–2015: Timrå IK (HockeyAllsvenskan) – Cehlin transferred to Timrå IK, contributing to the club’s efforts to regain promotion to the SHL.
- 2015–2020: Various Swedish clubs – Over the following seasons, Cehlin played for a number of Swedish teams, including returns to AIK and stints with other SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan clubs.
