Patrick Breen (actor)
Patrick Breen (born 1977) is an American actor, voice artist, and writer. He began his career as a child performer, appearing in stage productions such as The Little Shop of Horrors and the Broadway revival of The Sound of Music. Breen later transitioned to film and television, with credits that include roles in The Nutcracker (1993), A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988), and guest appearances on series such as Law & Order and The Good Wife. In addition to on‑screen work, he has performed voice‑over roles for animated series and video games. Breen is also a co‑founder of the theater collective The Basement Theatre in New York City, where he has written and directed original productions.

Patrick Breen (born 1972) is an American poet, essayist, and educator. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado. Breen’s poetry collections include My Family’s House (2005) and Midsummer (2012), both published by independent presses. His work has appeared in literary journals such as The Paris Review, Ploughshares, and The American Poetry Review. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and a Pushcart Prize nomination. Breen teaches creative writing at Northwestern State University, where he also directs the university’s literary magazine.
