Patrick Thomas Beach (born 6 August 2003) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Ligue 1 club Troyes and the Australia national team (the Socceroos).
Early career: Beach was born in Sydney, New South Wales. He played youth football for Glenmore Park FC, Mt Druitt Town Rangers, and Marconi Stallions. He also spent time overseas trialing with Larne (Northern Ireland), playing for Dundalk's under-19 side in the League of Ireland, and trialing with Ipswich Town in England before returning to Australia in October 2021.
Club career: Beach joined the Central Coast Mariners in 2021 but did not make a senior appearance. He signed for Melbourne City in June 2023 on a three-year deal. After being benched for the entire 2023–24 season, he made his professional debut on 19 October 2024, keeping a clean sheet in a 1–0 win over Newcastle Jets and earning Man of the Match. He played every minute of the 2024–25 A-League Men season, recording 13 clean sheets across 29 games and winning the A-League Championship. In July 2026, Beach signed a five-year contract with French Ligue 1 club Troyes.
International career: Beach represented Australia at the U-23 level. He made his senior debut for the Socceroos on 14 November 2025 against Venezuela, earning Player of the Match honors. He was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad and started in all four of Australia's matches, becoming the youngest starting goalkeeper in the tournament. He notably kept a clean sheet in a 2–0 victory over Turkey in the opening match.
Personal: During the 2026 World Cup, the City of Port Phillip temporarily renamed St Kilda Beach as "Patrick Beach" in his honor.
