Pat Considine (1930 – 19 February 2017) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency from 1982 to 1987. He was also a long-serving member of Clare County Council.
Early Life and Background
Born in Kilfenora, County Clare, in 1930, Considine was a farmer by profession before entering national politics. He was actively involved in local community affairs and agricultural organisations.Political Career

He was first elected to Clare County Council in 1979, representing the Ennistymon local electoral area, a position he held until his retirement from politics in 1999.He was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency at the November 1982 general election. During his term in the Dáil, he was known for advocating on behalf of his constituents, particularly on issues related to agriculture and rural development.
Considine lost his Dáil seat at the 1987 general election. He unsuccessfully contested the 1989 general election. Despite his departure from national politics, he continued to serve on Clare County Council, maintaining a strong local presence and influence.
