Paris Paloma (born 17 November 1999) is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist. She gained prominence through the single "Labour" (2023), a feminist anthem about unpaid domestic labour. Her debut album, Cacophony, was released in 2024, and her second album, The Fatal Flaw, is scheduled for release on 4 September 2026.
Early Life
Paloma grew up in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, and attended Cheltenham Ladies' College. She studied Fine Art and History of Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 2022.
Career
Paloma met her first producer, Harry Charlton, in March 2020, with whom she made her debut single "Narcissus" and subsequent tracks "Ocean Baby", "cradle", and "Underneath". During the COVID-19 lockdown, she joined the Hybrid Tribe programme and was discovered by David Fernandez of High Plateau Productions. She released her debut EP Cemeteries and Socials in 2021. She signed with Nettwerk in 2022.
In March 2023, Paloma broke out with the single "Labour", which received 1 million streams on Spotify within 24 hours of release. The song sparked a viral TikTok trend and became her first charting single in the UK and on the Billboard charts in the US. It has been certified Platinum in the UK, Canada, and the US.
Her debut album Cacophony was released on 30 August 2024 via Nettwerk. She has performed at major festivals including Glastonbury (BBC Introducing stage), Bonnaroo, TRNSMT, All Points East, BST Hyde Park (supporting Stevie Nicks), and Reading and Leeds. In 2024, she supported Maisie Peters on the European leg of The Good Witch Tour.
In 2025, Paloma toured North America with 15 dates. In February 2026, she joined Florence + the Machine on the European leg of the Everybody Scream Tour. Her second album, The Fatal Flaw, was announced in May 2026 alongside international tour dates.
Artistry
Paloma has cited Florence and the Machine and Hozier as major influences. She also credits Ed Sheeran's debut album + (2011) with inspiring her to learn guitar. Her songwriting frequently draws from literature, mythology, and fine art. Works such as Madeline Miller's Circe, Stephen Fry's Mythos, and Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca have informed her lyrics. Her music is described as indie folk, folk pop, and dark pop.
