Pam Bachorz (born 1973) is an American author of speculative fiction, primarily known for her young adult novels.
Biography
Pam Bachorz was born in 1973 in Salem, Massachusetts. She grew up in a small town in the Adirondack foothills of upstate New York. She currently resides in New Jersey with her family.

Candor (2009) — Set in a near-future planned community, the novel follows Oscar Banks, the son of the town's founder, who secretly helps residents escape the town's system of indoctrination and mind control while publicly pretending to be a conformist. The book was a finalist for the Cybils Award for Young Adult Speculative Fiction and was nominated for the ALA Best Books for Young Adults.

Drought (2011) — Also set in a small, coercive community, the story follows a young protagonist seeking to escape an enclave-like setting through a romance-driven attempt.
