Paloma Lokus is a Polish-American singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Arizona. She was born on May 1, 1997, in Chicago, Illinois, to Polish nationals, and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Poland. She is best known for competing in season six of The Voice of Poland, the internationally syndicated version of NBC's The Voice singing competition.

Career
Lokus recorded her first song at the age of thirteen. In 2013, she released her first album, Country Girls Do it Better, and won first place in that year's "Northern Arizona's Got Talent" competition in the thirteen-to-eighteen-year-old category. In June 2014, she competed and won first place in the annual "PV Idol" singing competition in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
The Voice of Poland
In episode 6 of The Voice of Poland season 6, during the blind auditions in Warsaw aired on September 19, 2015, Lokus performed the song "Stay" by the country band Sugarland. Three of the four judges turned their chairs, and she selected Andrzej Piaseczny as her coach. Her appearance received positive media coverage in Poland, with Radio Eska likening her performance to that of a "young Taylor Swift." However, it also drew mixed reactions among social media audiences, with some criticism directed at the fact that she was born and raised in the United States and had traveled to Poland to compete in the show.
