Description
Osteocephalus duellmani is a tree frog in the family Hylidae. The only known adult male specimen measured 48.1 mm in snout‑vent length.
Distribution and Habitat
The species is endemic to Ecuador and is known solely from its type locality in the Cordillera del Cóndor, at an elevation of approximately 1910 m above sea level. It inhabits dense cloud forests characterized by high humidity, abundant moss, and epiphytic growth.
Discovery
The species was formally described by Karl‑Heinz Jungfer in 2011 following its collection from the high‑altitude Cordillera del Cóndor region.
