Oregon Trail Scouts is a 1947 American Western film in the Red Ryder film series, directed by R. G. Springsteen and written by Earle Snell. It was the twenty-first installment in Republic Pictures' 23-film Red Ryder series, which was based on Fred Harman's comic strip.

Plot Summary The film follows Red Ryder as he battles an unscrupulous fur thief named Bill Hunter for the right to trap beaver and otter on the land of Chief Running Fox. Hunter attempts to ambush Ryder and his companion "Bear Trap," and when that fails, he kidnaps Little Beaver (the grandson of Chief Running Fox) and kills the Judge, escalating the conflict.
