Ooperipatus caesius is a species of velvet worm (phylum Onychophora) in the family Peripatopsidae. It was described in 2000 by Amanda L. Reid from specimens collected in Mount Buffalo National Park, Victoria, Australia. The species has 15 pairs of legs (lobopods), which is characteristic of the genus Ooperipatus. It is endemic to southeastern Australia, specifically found in Victoria, Australia. The holotype specimen is deposited in Museum Victoria, Melbourne. Like all members of its genus, Ooperipatus caesius is oviparous (egg-laying).
