Oneok Field

Definition
Oneok Field is a minor league baseball stadium located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. It serves as the home venue for the Tulsa Drillers of the Texas League (Double-A East) and hosts various community events.

Overview
Opened on April 8, 2010, Oneok Field replaced the historic Oiler Park as the Drillers’ primary facility. The stadium is situated within the Tulsa County Downtown Sports Complex, adjacent to the Tulsa Convention Center and the BOK Center. It was designed to accommodate approximately 7,833 spectators, with additional standing-room areas that can raise total capacity to around 9,000. The venue is operated by the Tulsa Drillers and managed in partnership with the City of Tulsa.

Etymology / Origin
The name “Oneok Field” derives from a naming rights agreement with ONEOK, Inc., a Fortune 500 energy company headquartered in Tulsa. The agreement, announced in March 2010, granted ONEOK the naming rights for a 20‑year term in exchange for financial support toward the stadium’s construction and ongoing operations.

Characteristics

  • Architecture and Design: The stadium was designed by HOK Sport (now Populous) and built by J.W. “Bill” Stout & Co.
