Olha Volodymyrivna Bohomolets (Ukrainian: Ольга Володимирівна Богомолець; born March 22, 1966) is a Ukrainian physician, singer-songwriter, and former politician. A descendant of the prominent Ukrainian physiologist Oleksandr Bohomolets, she has made significant contributions in medicine, cultural preservation, and public service.
Early Life and Education
Olha Bohomolets was born in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR (now Ukraine). She comes from a distinguished medical family, with her great-grandfather, Oleksandr Bohomolets, being a renowned physiologist and the president of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR. She graduated from the Kyiv National Medical University (now Bogomolets National Medical University) in 1989, specializing in dermatology. In 1994, she founded the Dr. Bogomolets' Clinic, which later evolved into the Institute of Dermatology and Cosmetology, a leading private medical institution in Ukraine. She has authored numerous scientific articles and books on dermatology and cosmetology.During the Euromaidan Revolution in 2013-2014, Bohomolets played a crucial role in organizing and providing medical assistance to injured protesters, establishing medical centers and coordinating aid efforts.

Bohomolets entered politics following the Euromaidan events.- 2014 Presidential Election: She ran as an independent candidate in the 2014 Ukrainian presidential election, ultimately finishing 8th with 1.91% of the vote.
- Presidential Advisor: Following the election, she served as an advisor to President Petro Poroshenko on humanitarian issues.
- People's Deputy of Ukraine: In the 2014 parliamentary elections, she was elected as a People's Deputy of Ukraine for the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
- Committee on Healthcare: During her term as a People's Deputy (2014-2019), she chaired the Committee on Healthcare of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament), advocating for healthcare reforms and transparency in the medical system.
