Oleksandr Andriyevskyi (Ukrainian: Олександр Андрійєвський; born 5 January 1997) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a central or defensive midfielder for Ukrainian Premier League club Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national team.
Early life and youth career
Andriyevskyi was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. He began his football education in the youth academy of Dynamo Kyiv, joining the club’s development system at a young age. He progressed through various age‑group teams, displaying versatility in midfield roles.
Club career
Dynamo Kyiv
After completing his formation at Dynamo Kyiv, Andriyevskyi made his senior debut for the club on 24 May 2018 in a Ukrainian Premier League match against FC Dnipro-1. He gradually established himself as a regular squad member, contributing both defensively and in ball distribution. As of the end of the 2023–24 season, he has made over 150 league appearances for Dynamo Kyiv and has scored several goals.
Loan spells
Early in his senior career, Andriyevskyi spent time on loan at lower‑division Ukrainian clubs to gain first‑team experience. He played for FC Zorya Luhansk on loan during the 2019–2020 season, appearing in 22 league matches and helping the team secure a top‑four finish.
International career
Andriyevskyi represented Ukraine at various youth levels, including the under‑18, under‑19, and under‑21 sides. He earned his first senior cap on 8 September 2020 in a UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands. By 2024, he had accumulated more than 20 caps for the senior national team and participated in qualifying campaigns for major tournaments.
