Oleg Troshin (born 1 August 1964) is a Soviet and Russian racewalker who competed in the men's 20 kilometres walk at the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Early life and career Troshin was born on 1 August 1964 in Saransk, Mordoviya, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. He trained under Honoured Coach of Russia Nikolai Filippovich Kabanov and represented the sports club SKA (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) and Moscow Oblast.
In 1989, he ranked 15th in the world for the 20 km walk with a time of 1:21:34. On 22 April 1990, at competitions in Moscow, he set his personal best in the 20 km walk with a time of 1:19:58, the 12th best result in the world for that season.
Olympic participation In May 1992, Troshin won the silver medal in the 20 km walk at the open CIS Athletics Championships in Moscow, finishing behind Vladimir Andreyev. This performance earned him a place on the Unified Team (composed of athletes from the former Soviet republics) for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He competed in the men's 20 kilometres walk but did not finish the race.
Later career Troshin continued competing after the Olympics. In 1995, he won silver in the 50 km walk at the open Russian Championships in Izhevsk. In 1996, he earned silver in the 30 km walk at the open Russian Winter Championships in Adler. In 1997, he won the gold medal in the 50 km walk at the open Russian Racewalking Championships in Cheboksary with a time of 3:58:01.

Nationality and measurement Troshin held Soviet citizenship during his early career and later Russian citizenship. He is listed at 179 cm (5 ft 10 in) tall and 65 kg (143 lb).
