Oksana Bilozir

Oksana Bilozir (Ukrainian: Оксана Білозір; born 9 February 1979) is a Ukrainian pop singer, songwriter, television presenter, and former politician. She is the daughter of noted Ukrainian folk singer and former Minister of Culture Vasyl Bilozir.

Early life and education
Bilozir was born in Dubno, then part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Union (now Ukraine). She attended the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, graduating in 2000 with a degree in cultural studies.

Musical career
Bilozir began performing in childhood, participating in various children's music ensembles. She launched her solo career in the early 2000s, releasing several studio albums that blend contemporary pop with elements of Ukrainian folk music. Notable releases include “Ya Ne Lyublyu” (2005) and “Ya Lyublyu” (2008). She has performed at major Ukrainian music festivals and has been a regular guest on television music programs.

Television work
In addition to her singing career, Bilozir has worked as a television presenter, hosting music and entertainment shows on Ukrainian national channels.

Political career
In the 2007 parliamentary elections, Bilozir was elected as a People's Deputy of Ukraine, serving in the Verkhovna Rada until 2012. She entered parliament on the party list of the Party of Regions, where she was a member of the Committee on Education, Science and Youth Policy. During her tenure, she advocated for cultural development and support for the arts. Bilozir did not seek re‑election in the 2012 parliamentary elections and subsequently returned to her entertainment career.

Personal life
Bilozir is married and has children. She maintains a public presence in Ukrainian cultural life, continuing to release music and appear in media projects.
