The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is an autonomous federal agency in Pakistan responsible for the regulation of the country’s oil and gas sector. Established under the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Ordinance of 2002, OGRA began operations in 2003 with its headquarters in Islamabad.

Organizational Structure
OGRA is headed by a Chairman appointed by the Government of Pakistan, assisted by members representing various stakeholder groups, including the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Finance, and industry experts. The authority is organized into divisions such as Licensing, Tariff, Legal, and Administration, each tasked with specific regulatory functions.
