Nortoft

Nortoft is a small hamlet located within the civil parish of Guilsborough in West Northamptonshire, England. Situated approximately 9 miles (14 km) north-west of the county town of Northampton, it lies in a rural setting surrounded by agricultural land.

Historically, Nortoft was part of the Daventry district until the local government reorganisation in April 2021, when it became part of the new unitary authority of West Northamptonshire. The hamlet consists of a cluster of homes and farm buildings, characteristic of small English rural settlements. Its name, like many English place names, is likely of Old English origin, potentially referring to a northern enclosure or piece of land.

Nortoft is primarily residential and agricultural, with no significant public services or commercial establishments within its immediate bounds. It relies on nearby larger villages like Guilsborough for amenities.
