Northcote Football Club

Northcote Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in the suburb of Northcote, Victoria, Australia. The club is known by the nickname “the Dragons” and traditionally wears red and white vertical stripes. Its home ground is Warner Reserve, located in Northcote.

History
The club’s origins date to the early 20th century, when it was admitted to the Victorian Football Association (VFA), the principal state‑level competition in Victoria at the time. Northcote competed in the VFA for several decades and achieved notable success, securing VFA premierships in 1929 and 1932. Following the re‑organisation of Victorian football in the latter half of the 20th century, Northcote withdrew from the VFA and subsequently joined suburban competitions. Since the 1990s the club has been a member of the Northern Football Netball League (formerly the Diamond Valley Football League), where it fields senior and junior teams.
