Norbert Hosnyánszky (born March 4, 1984) is a Hungarian professional water polo player. A left-handed attacker, he is one of the most decorated players in Hungarian water polo history, known for his powerful shot, tactical intelligence, and significant contributions to the Hungarian national team's numerous international successes, including multiple Olympic, World, and European Championship medals.

Early Life and Club Career

Hosnyánszky was born in Budapest, Hungary. He developed his water polo skills in Hungary's robust youth system. His professional club career includes stints with several top Hungarian clubs, such as Vasas SC, ZF-Eger, and Szolnoki Dózsa, with whom he won multiple Hungarian Championship titles and Hungarian Cups. He also played for the Italian powerhouse Pro Recco, one of Europe's most successful water polo clubs, adding a European Champions League title to his resume.

International Career

Hosnyánszky made his debut for the Hungarian national water polo team in the early 2000s and quickly established himself as a key player. He has been a consistent and reliable presence in major international tournaments for over a decade and a half.
