Noble Island is a small island located in the Coral Sea, part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park within the Howick Group National Park, approximately 100 km southeast of Cape Melville, Queensland, Australia. It covers an area of about 30 hectares (0.3 km²).

History and Indigenous Heritage Noble Island was traditionally home to the Ithu people, an Indigenous Australian group.
Ecology The island is noted as a habitat for sea turtles and sea pigeons (a common name for certain seabird species). Its volcanic core rises above the surrounding coral reefs, distinguishing it from flat coral atolls in the region.
Administration Noble Island is under the jurisdiction of the state of Queensland, Australia, and is protected as part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
