No No No (Beirut album)

No No No is the fourth studio album by Beirut, released on September 11, 2015, by 4AD. It marks a return to a more upbeat and accessible sound compared to some of the band's previous work. The album's title track was the first single released.

The album was written and recorded following a period of personal difficulty for Zach Condon, the principal member of Beirut. He had experienced exhaustion and vocal issues, which led to a period of rest and reflection in Istanbul, Turkey. These experiences are said to have influenced the songwriting process.

No No No features a blend of Beirut's signature elements, including Balkan brass, ukulele, and Condon's distinctive vocals, alongside more prominent use of percussion and a generally brighter, more optimistic tone. It was generally well-received by critics, who praised its melodic strength and renewed energy. The album also features contributions from various musicians who have worked with Beirut in the past.
