Nitzan Bet (Hebrew: נִצָּן ב) is a residential district within the Israeli town of Nitzan, located in the Southern District of Israel near the Mediterranean coast, adjacent to the city of Ashdod. The district was developed in the aftermath of Israel’s 2005 disengagement from the Gaza Strip, specifically to provide housing for former residents of the Gush Katif settlements who were evacuated as part of the disengagement plan.
