Nika Fleiss

Nika Fleiss (born 14 August 1982) is a former Croatian alpine skier. She specialized in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom. Fleiss was a prominent member of the Croatian national ski team during the 2000s, representing her country at multiple Winter Olympic Games and FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.

Career

Nika Fleiss began her international career in the late 1990s. She made her World Cup debut in December 1999. Throughout her career, Fleiss was known for her consistent performances in slalom, often placing within the top 30 in World Cup races.

Olympic Games

Fleiss competed in three Winter Olympic Games:

  • 2002 Salt Lake City: She achieved her best Olympic result in slalom, finishing 12th.
  • 2006 Turin: She competed in both slalom and giant slalom.
  • 2010 Vancouver: This marked her third and final Olympic appearance.
