Nicolas Peschier

Nicolas Peschier (born 17 January 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defender. He is known for his career predominantly in the French lower divisions, including the Championnat National and National 2, and notably for being a part of the Les Herbiers VF team that reached the 2018 Coupe de France Final.

Career

Peschier began his football career in the youth ranks of FC Nantes, where he also featured for the club's reserve team (FC Nantes B) before moving into senior professional football.

His professional career has seen him play for several clubs in the French Championnat National and National 2 leagues:

  • Vendée Poiré-sur-Vie (2014–2015): Peschier joined Vendée Poiré-sur-Vie, making his debut in the Championnat National.
  • Luçon FC (2015–2016): He continued his progression with Luçon FC for one season.
  • Les Herbiers VF (2016–2018): This period marked a significant highlight in Peschier's career. As a key defender, he was part of the Les Herbiers team that famously reached the final of the 2018 Coupe de France. The club, then playing in the Championnat National, faced powerhouses Paris Saint-Germain in the final at the Stade de France, ultimately losing 2–0.
  • Stade Lavallois (2018–2021): Following his notable success with Les Herbiers, Peschier moved to Stade Lavallois, where he continued to play in the Championnat National.
  • SO Cholet (2021–present): Peschier joined SO Cholet in 2021, where he has continued his career in the Championnat National.
