Nicola Pfund (born 7 November 1960) is a Swiss Italian writer, blogger and journalist.
He was born in Sorengo, in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland, though he is a native of the canton of Schaffhausen. After studying at a teacher-training college, Pfund earned a diploma as a librarian-documentalist and later as a General Culture teacher. He currently teaches at a vocational school and works as a sports journalist for several newspapers, holding memberships in sportpress.ch and the International Association of Sports Press (AIPS).
Pfund is the author of numerous books in the historical, educational, sports, and travel fields. He is particularly known for his writings about cycling trips in Switzerland and over Alpine passes, which often present original information about the country. In 2012, he created a sports blog covering triathlon, ecology, and ethics in sports, which became one of the most visited blogs in the Italian language area. He was selected among the seven most prominent bloggers in Switzerland for a project related to the circulation of information about the country's "Energy Strategy 2050."
