The New Peru Friendship Association is a union of Marxist–Leninist–Maoist organizations that support the Peruvian insurgent group Shining Path and operate in different countries. The group is involved in collecting and clandestinely sending money to the insurgent group, as well as spreading the ideological line of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism associated with Abimael Guzmán (known as "Chairman Gonzalo"), the leader of the Communist Party of Peru.

Associations of the same type have also been reported in Bangladesh, Nepal, Turkey, Germany, Italy, and Sweden.
Activities
According to sources, the association's activities include fundraising and financial support for Shining Path, as well as propaganda efforts to disseminate the group's ideology internationally. Various national chapters have organized meetings and events in defense of Abimael Guzmán and in support of the "People's War" in Peru.
Designation
The group has been described in media and government sources as a support network for a designated terrorist organization. Shining Path (Sendero Luminoso) is listed as a terrorist group by the governments of Peru, the United States, the European Union, and other countries.
