Neu-Baumburg Castle (German: Burg Neu-Baumburg) is a medieval spur castle ruin situated in the municipality of Neu-Bamberg, located in the Bad Kreuznach district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
The castle was established approximately in 1253 by the Raugraves (German: Raugrafen), a noble lineage that emerged from the Emichones. It was commissioned by Raugrave Heinrich I following a territorial division between the branches of the family. The site served as a defensive fortification and administrative center, complementing the family's primary ancestral seat, Altenbaumburg, located nearby.
Following the extinction of the Raugrave line in the late 14th century, ownership of the castle transitioned to the Electoral Palatinate. The structure remained functional until the late 17th century. During the War of the Palatine Succession in 1689, the castle was systematically destroyed by French forces.
In its current state, Neu-Baumburg Castle is a ruin. Surviving architectural elements include remnants of the curtain wall, portions of the gate system, and the foundations of the residential buildings (palas). The site is classified as a cultural monument under the laws of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
