Nestor Shufrych (Ukrainian: Нестор Шуфрич; born 17 August 1962) is a Ukrainian businessman and politician. He has served multiple terms as a deputy in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, and is the founder and leader of the All‑Ukrainian Union “Patriots” (Всеукраїнське об’єднання «Патріоти»).
Early life and education
Shufrych was born in the Lviv Oblast of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. He graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic Institute (now Lviv Polytechnic National University) with a degree in engineering.
Business career
Following his education, Shufrych entered the construction sector, establishing and managing several enterprises involved in building and real estate development. His business activities provided the foundation for his subsequent political involvement.
