Neoplagiaulax is an extinct genus of mammals belonging to the order Multituberculata, a diverse clade of rodent‑like mammals that thrived from the Late Jurassic to the early Cenozoic. The genus is placed within the family Neoplagiaulacidae, which is part of the suborder Plagiaulacida. Fossils attributed to Neoplagiaulax have been recovered from Paleocene strata in Europe (particularly France and Belgium) and, to a lesser extent, from North‑American deposits.
