The National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” (Bulgarian: Национална музикална академия „Панчо Владигеров“, Natsionalna muzikalna akademia „Pancho Vladigerov“) is a higher‑education institution specializing in music, located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
History
The academy was founded on 21 July 1921 by a royal decree of Tsar Boris III. It was originally known as the Bulgarian State Conservatoire (Българска държавна консерватория). In 2006 the institution received its current name, honoring the prominent Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov (1899–1978).

The academy occupies two buildings in Sofia (coordinates 42°41′42″ N 23°20′50″ E).
Academic Structure
The university offers thirty degree programmes distributed among three faculties:
- Faculty of Theory, Composition and Conducting – covering music theory, composition, orchestration, and conducting.
- Instrumental Faculty – providing instruction for a full range of orchestral and solo instruments.
- Vocal Faculty – offering training for solo singing, opera, and choral performance.
