Nathan Reardon (born 21 May 1982) is an Australian former professional cricketer who played as a right‑handed top‑order batsman and occasional right‑arm medium‑pace bowler. He represented Queensland in Australian domestic cricket from the mid‑2000s until his retirement in 2020 and was a regular member of the Brisbane Heat franchise in the Big Bash League (BBL). Reardon also appeared for Australia A and was selected for the Australian national squad for limited‑overs tours, though he did not play a senior international match.
Early life and education
Reardon was born in Toowoomba, Queensland. He attended St. Mary's College in Toowoomba and later studied at the Queensland University of Technology, balancing his academic pursuits with a developing cricket career.
Domestic career
First‑class cricket
- Debuted for Queensland in the 2006–07 Sheffield Shield season.
- Over his first‑class career, Reardon played 72 matches, scoring 5,154 runs at an average of 43.30, including 13 centuries and 23 half‑centuries.
- His highest first‑class score was 201 not out, achieved against New South Wales in 2018.
List A cricket
- Made his List A debut for Queensland in the 2006–07 Ford Ranger Cup.
